While it appears that you get only a single Stellar account when using Ledger Nano S / X, it is totally possible to have multiple Stellar accounts. In this tutorial, we will explain how to enable more than one Stellar accounts.
If you don’t know how to manage your Stellar Lumens (XLM) using Ledger Nano S or Nano X, follow our tutorial.
Now, connect your Ledger Nano, unlock it and open Stellar app.
Open Stellar account viewer https://accountviewer.stellar.org/#!/ in web browser like Chrome and click on “Sign in with Ledger”. If it is disabled, it could be because your Nano S/X is not unlocked or Stellar app isn’t opened.
This will by default take you to default Stellar account. To enable multiple accounts, go back or open https://accountviewer.stellar.org/#!/ again. Uncheck default account, and change it to 44’/148’/1′
To have more, simply change last digit. So, you can move between address by changing from 44’/148’/0′ to 44’/148’/1′ or 44’/148’/2′
And that is it. You will now be shown new Stellar address. Just like other Stellar address, you must send one lumen to activate it.
You will now be able to use multiple Stellar accounts with Ledger Nano hardware wallet with absolutely no problem.
