Bitbank Co Ltd has announced that it will add Stellar Lumens to its exchange that currently consists of 7 crypto assets and 13 trading pairs. In addition, to commemorate the handling of Stellar Lumens (XLM), Bitbank will hold a campaign with no transaction fees for XLM / JPY and XLM / BTC.
This means when you buy and sell XLM on their exchange against JPY (Japanese Yen) and BTC pairs, you will not have to pay any fees – no maker or taker fees. This campaign will start today, September 16, 2020 and will end on January 5, 2021 10:00 am.
Bitbank is an exchange based in Japan with its headquarters in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. This is Stellar Lumens’ second big exchange listing in less than a week. Around a week back, Huobi Japan also listed XLM on its exchange.
Bitbank is listed on Coinmarketcap and has a daily volume of ~2600 BTC. It is very selective while listing coins as Stellar Lumens will be its 7th coin. Other supported coins on Bitbank include Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, MonaCoin, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. Clearly, they have done their homework and do not like listing random cryptocurrencies on its exchange.
