Akoin city token, AKN will be making its debut today on Bittrex cryptocurrency exchange. This token is backed by popular rap star, Akon who claims AKN token will be official currency of his Akoin city.
AKN token runs on Stellar blockchain which means it can make use of existing Stellar network features and wallets.
Make sure you have registered on Bittrex as AKN will begin trading on Bittrex Global exchange today at 11:11 PST. Bittrex Global is not available for US residents.
We also hope that trading of AKN token will go live on various Stellar decentralized exchanges soon.
Akoin aims to empower Africa in a big way. It seeks to minimize the barriers to entry for young entrepreneurs and small businesses in Africa. AKN token will be used as currency in Akoin city by everyone, which will benefit Stellar network directly.
